After Sebastian Colloredo, who made the final jump of his career at last season's World Cup final in Planica, the Italian Ski Jumping team now looses yet another veteran athlete, as Davide Bresadola now also announced his retirement.

The 30-year-old, made his final appearance in the World Cup in front of his home crowd in Val di Fiemme mid-January, almost exactly eight years after his debut. His last international competition was the FIS Cup a week later in Planica.

Davide Bresadola represented Italy at three Olympic Winter Games (Torino 2006, Sochi 2014, PyeongChang 2018) at four Nordic World Championships. He achieved his best World Cup result in December 2014 with the ninth place in Lillehammer (NOR).
