With his two wins in the Continental Cup in Lillehammer last weekend, Norwegian youngster Marius Lindvik earned his spot on the team for the upcoming World Cup in Engelberg.

"Lindvik presented himself very good in the Continental Cup with his two wins, that's why he now gets a chance in Engelberg", head coach Alexander Stoeckl is quoted on the website of the Norwegian Ski Association.

The fact that it will now be more difficult to get an additional quota spot for the next World Cup period in the COC, is not a problem for Stoeckl. "Yes, there's the chance that we will fail to get that spot, but we think that it's good for Lindvik if he competes in the World Cup before the 4-Hills-Tournament. If we don't get the spot we will have to decide after Engelberg which six jumpers will be participating in the 4-Hills-Tournament."

Andreas Stjernen will join the team again for Engelberg after his short break from competition. "He improved significantly. It was an important step for him to not go to Russia and stay at home for some training. His technique is now a lot better", says Alexander Stoeckl.

Daniel Andre Tande, who has been training in Vikersund recently, will not compete in Engelberg. "He has some top jumps, but he is not consistent enough yet. He says himself that he has found some answers in Vikersund, but many questions still remain. If Daniel now uses the time for training, he can get in shape until the 4-Hills-Tournament", says the coach.

This means that Johann Andre Forfang, Anders Fannemel, Halvor Egner Granerud, Robert Johansson, Marius Lindvik and Andreas Stjernen will represent Norway in Engelberg.
