New on the World Cup calendar: Premanon (FRA)
With Premanon there's a new venue on the World Cup calendar of the upcoming winter. The date was now confirmed by the FIS Council.

The ladies will fight for World Cup points on the HS 90 m hill in the Stade Nordique des Tuffes in Premanon on December 15th and 16th.

"We are looking forward to jumping on the facility in Premanon, it's always nice when we can welcome new organizers for our competition as part of the calendar. I'm sure that the athletes are also looking forward to the trip and the competitions in France", explains FIS Race Director Chika Yoshida.

The facility, which is located west of the Lake Geneva right at the Swiss border, was built in 1953, the first competitions took place there in 1954. In recent years, the hills in Premanon served as a training center for French ski jumpers. The facility is currently modernized in order to meet the requirements for hosting a FIS Ski Jumping World Cup in December.
