The Olympic champions received the award on Saturday evening in their team hotel in Sankt Johann in Austria, where the team currently stays for the final event of the 4-Hills-Tournament. The award ceremony was broadcasted live on Norwegian television.

Besides Olympic gold, the team of head coach Alexander Stoeckl also won the Nations Cup of the FIS World Cup and numerous team competitions.

"This makes us incredibly proud, the competition was strong. This award is for everyone who worked with us at the Norwegian Ski Association and made our success possible", said the four happy winners.
Head coach Stoeckl explained: "This is an award you want to win, it says everything about the spirit within a team. And we can't forget Anders Fannemel, he is the best fifth man in the world, Anders showed true sportsmanship."
