Polish national title to Dawid Kubacki

Dawid Kubacki took the win in the Polish Ski Jumping championships on the large hill in Zakopane this Saturday.

With jumps of 135.5 m and 136.5 m the 28-year-old was the best in both rounds on the HS 140 and won the competition with his total of 320.6 points. "I'm happy that I could end the summer with such a positive result. This gives me self-confidence for the winter", said the winner.

Piotr Zyla, who was the best Pole this summer with his third place in the overall ranking of the FIS Grand Prix, finished second with 133 m and 136.5 m and 314.1 points. Olympic champion Kamil Stoch jumped on 130 m and 134.5 m and came in third with 305.6 points. "I'm glad that I was able to show two good jumps even though we did some intense training recently. Now I'm looking forward to the start of the World Cup season", said Kamil Stoch.

Stefan Hula, Jakub Wolny and Klemens Muranka followed on the places four to six, defending champion Maciej Kot was seventh.
