Vikersund on the World Cup calendar

Some decisions regarding Ski Jumping were made at the fall meetings of the FIS Council in Oberhofen (SUI).

Vikersund (NOR) is back on the FIS World Cup calendar for the upcoming season and so the final of the RAW AIR will also be held on the Monsterbakken there in 2019. Following the inspection by the Sub-Committee for Jumping Hills and agreement to issue a temporary hill certificate valid for the upcoming season, after works have been undertaken to adapt the outrun to conform to safety requirements.

World Cup calendar men 2018/19

Further confirmations by the FIS Council:

The winner of the qualification in the men's World Cup will get a prize money of CHF 3000,- (CHF 5000,- in Ski Flying).
In order to be allowed to compete in a Ski Flying World Cup, an athlete now needs to have scored at least one Continental Cup point in the past or current season, same as in the Ski Jumping World Cup.
