Anders Fannemel, who sustained an ACL tear during training in Wisla (POL) in July, now had to undergo yet another surgery.

"Some scar tissue was removed and additional repairing of the meniscus was done as well. This means that I'll need crutches for six more weeks", the former world record holder explained.

Despite the setbacks this year, the 28-year-old Norwegian is not thinking about retirement just yet. Anders Fannemel will miss the entire upcoming season, but he has already set his sights to Beijing 2022: "The next Olympic Games are my first goal now. I have the feeling, that I have a lot more to give on the hill."
