COC-W: Ksenia Kablukova prevents German triple victory in Brotterode

In the last jumping competition of this season's Continental Cup in Brotterode (GER) , the victory went on Sunday to Ksenia Kablukova from Russia with 320 points.

With the longest jumps in both rounds at 106.5 m and 105 m scoring 206 points, the 21-year-old, who finished second on Saturday, was unbeatable and claimed her second victory in the Continental Cup.

The places immediately behind the Russian went all to the German team. Pauline Hessler, who won the first competition of the weekend, finished second on second day in Brotterode with 104 m and 94.5 m and 191.2 points. After Pia Lilian Kübler missed the podium yesterday only due to a fall in the first run, she secured third place today with 102 m and 99 m and 186.1 points. Josephin Laue, still 21st on Saturday, finished fourth and thus completed the very strong result of the hosts.

Fifth place went to Pia Mai from Slovenia, ahead of Irma Makhinia from Russia and Astrid Norstedt from Sweden, who shared sixth place. Behind the two Slovenians Jerneja Repinc Zupancic and Lara Logar, another German jumper, Michelle Göbel, reached the top 10.

With her very strong results this weekend, Ksenia Kablukova secured the overall victory of the Continental Cup 2019/20 with a total of 385 points. Second place goes to Sophie Sorschag from Austria with 320 points, Pauline Hessler follows in third place with 285 points.
