Mid-August Daniel Andre Tande sustained a knee injury during a training session in Courchevel (FRA) and he was forced to take a break from jumping since then. Now the Norwegian was finally able to return to the hill in Trondheim.

"It is extremely good to be back. Of course my jumping is not on my top level right away. I will need a couple of more jumps for that", the 25-year-old Ski Flying World Champion told. Daniel Andre Tande made three jumps on Wednesday and then skipped the second training session in the afternoon. "I have had a bit of a strange feeling in the knee after the first jumps, but it's nothing to be scared about."

It's still about six weeks until the start of the 2019/20 World Cup season in Wisla (POL) and Daniel Andre Tande wants to be on the Norwegian team for the first event. "Of course I'll be ready for the World Cup opener, at least that's my goal. I don't think that should be a problem. Hopefully my level of jumping will be closer to my best by then."
