For the young male and female ski jumpers, the FIS Nordic Junior World Championships 2020 in Oberwiesenthal ended with the mixed team competition on Sunday afternoon.

In this final Ski Jumping competition of the championships, Austria claimed the fourth gold, after the two individual wins in the women's and men's competition and the triumph in the women's team event. With a total of 1023.3 points, Lisa Eder, Marco Woergoetter and the two individual World Champions Marita Kramer and Peter Resinger took the gold.

"We were very nervous because we knew that we can make it if we all perform well. Now it's even better that we could really win. The next gold medal, that's incredible", said Marco Woergoetter, who was fifth in the individual competition and won silver with the men's team.

It was an exciting fight until the very end, in which the team of Norway came in a close second. After eight competition jumps, Eirin Maria Kvandal, Bendik Jakobsen Heggli, Thea Minyan Bjoerseth and Sander Vossan Eriksen Silber, finished only 1.6 points behind the winners.

The bronze medal went to the team of Slovenia, with Jerneja Brecl, Jan Bombek, Katra Komar, Mark Hafnar. They scored a total of 986.0 points. Just like in the men's team competition on Saturday, Jan Bombek was once again the athlete, who scored the most points.

Germany missed the podium and came in fourth, followed by Russia and France.
