Niko Kytosaho and Susanna Forsstroem won the individual competition at the Finnish Ski Jumping Championships this past weekend in Kuopio.

19-year-old Niko Kytosaho dominated the men's competition on the HS 127 large hill on the Puijo with jumps of 130 m and 127.5 m and 304.2 points. "Not everything worked well, but it was a good day", the Finnish champion is quoted on hiihtoliitto.fi.

Antti Aalto came in second with 118.5 m and 125 m and 279.8 points, Eetu Nousiainen was the third athlete on the podium with 123 m and 122 m and a total of 274.2 points.
Jarkko Maatta, Jonne Vetelaeinen and Juho Ojala followed in fourth, fifth and sixth.

In the junior's competition, which was held on the HS 100, Tomas Kuisma (96 m and 88 m) and Paavo Romppainen (89.5 m and 96 m) tied for first with 246.0 points. Herman Happonen was third with 214.0 points (85.5 m and 91.5 m).

Puijon Hiihtoseura 1 (Eetu Nousiainen, Henri Kavilo, Ilkka Herola) took the win in the team event with 785.0 points, ahead of Lahden Hiihtoseura 1 (Arttu Pohjola, Mico Ahonen, Niko Kytosaho; 771.0 points) and Kuusamon Erae-Veikot 1 (Jonne Vetelaeinen, Juho Ojala, Kalle Heikkinen; 705.5 points).

Susanna Forsstorem was the best athlete In the women's competition on the normal hill. She won the title with 81 m and 92.5 m and 203.5 points, followed by Jenny Rautionaho (82 m and 84 m; 191.0 points) and Julia Tervahartiala (57 m and 60 m; 76.0 points).
