The competition started with a jumping round of four athletes (male and female ski jumpers and nordic combined skiers) and ends with a 4 x 3.3 km relay race (male and female nordic combined and cross country skiers).

The gold medal in this special team event went to Norway. Gyda Westvold Hansen, Sebastian Oestvold, Nora Midtsundstad, and Iver Olausson already took the lead after the Ski Jumping round, followed by Austria (Johanna Bassani, Severin Reiter, Vanessa Moharitsch, David Haagen) and Italy (Annika Sieff, Stefano Radovan, Jessica Malsiner, Matthias Galiani).

In the cross country race later, these three teams then defended their top positions and claimed the medals. Norway, with  Westvold Hansen, Oestvold, Maria Hartz Melling and Nikolai Holmboe took a clear win and secured gold.

Austria (Bassani, Reiter, Witte-Luisa Walcher, Erik Engel) won the silver medal and bronze went to Italy (Sieff, Radovan, Silvia Campione, Elia Barp).
