Anders Ladehaug and Eirin Kvandal win Norwegian nationals

In absence of the best Norwegian ski jumpers, national championships were held on Tuesday evening on the large hill in Trondheim.

The men's title there went to Anders Ladehaug, who scored a total of 276.1 points with his jumps of 136.5 m and 135.5 m. Iver Olausson followed in second with 132.5 m and 136.5 m and 272.9 points. The third place went to Matias Braathen with 137.5 m and 132.5 m and 269.5 points.
Bendik Jakobsen Heggli, Robin Pedersen, and Andreas Varsi Breivik followed in fourth to sixth.
"It feels good to be Norwegian champion. Winning this title is a big thing, but I would have also loved to compete with ski jumpers llike Granerud and Johansson", Anders Ladehaug said to Norwegian TV station NRK after the competition.

Eirin Kvandal took a clear win in the women's competition with 135 m and 123 m and 254.7 points. The second and third place on the podium went to Thea Minyan Bjoerseth (121.5 m and 127 m; 236.7 points) and Silje Opseth (119 m and 129 m; 231.9 points).
The top favorite Maren Lundby came in fourth with her total of 226.5 points.
