On the second Russian competition of Blue Bird, Sara Marita Kramer performed a back to back win, scoring 243,10 points with jumps of 97.5 and 94.5 m. Slovenian Nika Kriznar came second and Japanese Sara Takanashi finished third. With a second podium in this Russian Tour with 3 yellow bibs, this trio is promising new thrilling competitions in Chaikovski.

Determined to keep his yellow bib related to this Russian Tour, Kramer showed again her strong shape today.  In this competition series consisting of four events in Russia, Kramer is now scoring 21.1 points ahead of Sara Takanashi and 24,8 over Nika Kriznar. Even if she focuses on Blue Bird, she mentioned she will also fight for a potential come back on the overall world cup ranking.

Taking the second position today ahead of Sara Takanashi, Slovenian Nika Kriznar regained the yellow bib of the overall ranking. " With 5 points difference now, the fight with Sara is really motivating. This turns each competition even more exciting" said the young Slovenian, who just turned 21 earlier this month.

Sara Takanashi finished third, being happy to be again on the podium. Scoring today her 108th individual podium, which is already by far a record for women, she tied the world record of the Finnish Janne Ahonen... Knowing of course that Takanashi is still active and might score a few more soon.

Kramer’s best teammates finished fifth (Daniela Iraschko-Stolz) and tenth (Chiara Hoelzl). Austria being currently second on the Nations Cup Standing with 2'237 points, another close fight is now announced. Slovenia, the current leader, is now just 31 points ahead.  With Silje Opseth finishing sixth and Thea Minyan Bjoreseth eight today, Norway comes in third position with 2053 points.

After this second competition in Russia, the others in Chaikovski are now confirmed thrilling with a close fight for the victory of each of these three different ranking.
