The completion of the construction work of the Rothaus-hill in Hinterzarten will be delayed due to technical problems. The president of the local organizing committee, Klaus-Michael Tasch, has been informed about this fact by the architectural firm in charge.

Due to differences in measurements in the connecting area of the new steel construction and the existing tower, further adjustments are necessary which makes it impossible to complete the work on time.

"In September, volunteers put in many hours of work the renew the boards around the outrun of the hill and volunteers have already helped before the construction work started. The planning for the time after the completion was already in full swing", said Tanja Metzler, head of the Skiclub Hinterzarten.

Originally, training should have been possible again on the hill in Hinterzarten already in December, late January a women's World Cup is scheduled in Hinterzarten. This event is now in jeopardy.
The organizing committee in Hinterzarten, the German Ski Association, and the International Ski Federation FIS are currently working on possible alternative plans in order to secure the World Cup there in the 2020/21 season.
