Daniel Andre Tande

Good news at the end of the 2020/21 Ski Jumping season. Norway's Daniel Andre Tande, who had a serious crash during the World Cup final in Planica (SLO) is now back home with his family.

The former Ski Flying World Champion (Oberstdorf 2018) lost control over his skis on the first day of this season's final event in Planica, crashed on the knoll, and slid down the huge Ski Flying hill in Planica unconsciously.
Right after his crash, Daniel Andre Tande was in an artificial coma. The 27-year-old was then able to return home to Norway about a week later, where he underwent surgery due to a fractured collarbone.

Now the next step: Tande was discharged from the hospital near Oslo and is now back home with his family.
The very popular Norwegian now needs to rest in order to recover from his injuries. This means that Tande, who won team gold at the Ski Flying World Championships in Planica just about four months ago, will not give any interviews or be available for the media in the near future.
