After his serious crash at the World Cup final in Planica in late March, Daniel Andre Tande continues to receive treatment in a hospital near Oslo.

There, the 27-year-old had to undergo surgery on Thursday. "Daniel had surgery due to his collarbone fracture. The surgery was successful and he is doing well under the circumstances", said team doctor Guri Ranum Ekaas.
"Daniel now needs time to rest in order to recover from the injuries he sustained in his crash", Ekaas continued.

Daniel Andre Tande had a serious crash on the Ski Flying hill in Planica and was in an artificial coma for a few days in a hospital in Ljubljana. About a week ago he was taken from Slovenia to the Akershus University Hospital.
