After they had four athletes on top on Saturday, the strong Poles also proved to be unbeatable on day 2 of the FIS Grand Prix in Wisla. In the end, the same three athletes finished on the podium once again on the Adam-Malysz-hill: Dawid Kubacki, Kamil Stoch, and Piotr Zyla.

Dawid Kubacki jumped on 131.5 m and 127 m on late Sunday afternoon and claimed his next clear win with a total of 275.9 points.
"I can be very satisfied with this weekend. I didn't know until the end that I would win. I knew I could do it, but nothing is certain during the competition and you have to fight to the very end", said the winner, who was also happy that fans were allowed at the hill this weekend: "We need the adrenaline that fans give us. I thank them for being here with us and I hope that we put on a good show for them."

His two teammates could not keep up with the World Champion, but they also showed strong performances once again. With 125.5 m and 128 m (265.6 points), Kamil Stoch was able to repeat his second place from the day before and came in exactly two points ahead of his teammate Piotr Zyla, who posted jumps of 125 m and 129 m (263.6 points).

"Today I was missing some good, fresh energy, but that is normal at this stage of the preparation. I'm very satisfied with the level of these jumps and with my second place. I'm glad that there's still time until the winter to focus on improving and I believe that will be even better then", said Kamil Stoch.

"I made some nice jumps today, just like yesterday. The first jump was a little late at the take-off and the second one was really good. I didn't expect to have such a great weekend. Overall all my jumps were pretty good, on a good, stable level", explained Piotr Zyla.

Besides the three top athletes of the hosting team, youngster Tomasz Pilch also showed a convincing performance again. The 19-year-old, who surprised in fourth on Saturday, had yet another strong result in seventh today.

After his disappointing 33rd place on Saturday, Timi Zajc proved today that he can do a lot better than this. The young Slovene, who was second behind Kubacki after the first round with the longest jump of the day of 133.5 m, came in fourth overall today, only 1.6 points behind the podium.

Just like yesterday, the team of Switzerland presented itself strong again. On Saturday, Simon Ammann and Gregor Deschwanden finished in the Top 10, today, Killian Peier was their best in fifth. Gregor Deschwanden confirmed his very good shape in ninth.

For the Austrians, this competition went better than the first one of the weekend. Best athlete of the new head coach Andreas Widhoelzl was again Philipp Aschenwald, this time in sixth, Daniel Huber and David Haagen completed the good team result in eighth and tenth.
The best of the German team was Martin Hamann in 15th, Moritz Baer was 26th and David Siegel 29th.

The two competitions in Wisla this weekend were the only ones of this year's FIS Grand Prix and so there will not be an official overall Grand Prix winner 2020. But Poland was definitely worth the trip for everyone involved.

Also the new FIS Race Director Sandro Pertile was satisfied on Sunday evening: "This weekend was a lot of fun, it was a great experience for me. I start the job during challenging times, but I had great support from all of our colleagues and everyone was really happy to be back at the jumping hill. We are very happy that we could have the competitions here and we are looking forward to a very good winter season. We were preparing all the organizational aspects in an extremely professional way. I think we had the right plan it was a good preparation for the winter."
