In heavy rain, Austrian Marita Kramer confirmed her good shape during this 4th World Cup competition and won with 257.7 points. Silje Opseth from Norway followed second and Slovenian Ema Klinec third.

Winning the qualification earlier in the day and leading the first round, 19-year old Austrian posted two good jumps with 131.5 m and 135 m. "I prefer large hill" said Marita, smiling. Keeping her yellow bib, she is now 89 points ahead of Nika Kriznar from Slovenia in the world cup ranking.

Being sixth in the first round, Norwegian Silje Opseth posted the longest jump in the second round with 138.5 m and scored just 3.7 points less than Marita in total. She explained she really liked the hill and mentioned that the experience from her boys teammates was really helpful to get prepared.

Slovenian Ema Klinec, finished third on the podium. Being used to jump large hill in Planica, she really enjoyed this new hill but was ready, as her teammate Nika Kriznar who finished fifth.

Norway was strong with two more athletes in top 6 with Maren Lundby fourth and the new surprising Eirin Maria Kvandal, still in good shape after her victory last week.

Sara Takanashi was the best Japanese finishing seventh, just before Yuki Ito. Jumping in homeland, Katharina Althaus remained the best German in ninth position.

Marita’s teammates completed the top 11 with Daniela Iraschko-Stolz in 10th and Chiara Hoelzl.

58 women jumped today on this new hill, the largest one for women so far. It was difficult weather conditions for the organisers but they did a really good work on the hill.
