Niko Kytoesaho and Susanna Forsstroem win Finnish nationals

The Finnish Ski Jumping championships were held this weekend on the large and normal hill in Kuopio.

The win in the men's individual competition on Sunday went to Niko Kytoesaho, who scored a total of 270.6 points with his jumps of 126 m and 130 m.

After the first round on the HS 127, Antti Aalto was in the lead with his 127 m, in the end, his second jump of 127 m and 268.0 points were not enough to take the title. The third place in the Finnish championships went to Juha Miettinen with 119 m and 112 m and 208.3 points, but the third-best jumper in the competition was Estonia's Artti Aigro with 241.7 points (121 m and 122 m).

Susanna Forsström was unbeatable in the women's competition on the normal hill with 93 m and 96.5 m and 242.0 points. She was followed by Jenny Rautionaho (89 m and 82.5 m; 205.0 points) and Julia Kykkaenen (78 m and 78 m; 165.0 points) in second and third.

In Saturday's team event, Miico Ahonen, Arttu Pohjola and Niko Kytoesaho secured the title for the Lahden Hiihtoseura with 763.0 points. With this performance they came in clearly ahead of Kuusamon Erae-Veikot (Jonne Vetelaeinen, Sami Saapunki, Kalle Heikkinen; 709.5 points) and Puijon Hiihtoseura (Ilkka Herola, Henri Kavilo, Eetu Nousiainen; 685.5 points).
