The team of Norway, with Marius Lindvik, Daniel Andre Tande, Robert Johansson, and Halvor Egner Granerud, won the team event in Lahti (FIN) with their total of 1024.2 points. 5.9 points behind the winners, the team of Poland (Piotr Zyla, Andrzej Stekala, Kamil Stoch, and Dawid Kubacki) came in second, followed by Germany (Pius Paschke, Martin Hamann, Markus Eisenbichler, Karl Geiger), with 1014.4 points.

After the strong wind led to the cancellation of the training and the qualification on Friday, the conditions in the ski stadium of Lahti were a lot calmer today. For the nine teams, it was an exciting competition without any problems caused by wind and the perfect end for Norway. "It was a really good competition with five teams fighting for the win and Norway coming out on top. There were a lot of long, nice jumps, the jury did a really good jump today with choosing the right speed for all of the groups", explained World Cup leader Halvor Egner Granerud, for whom this was the first team win in the World Cup.
For Norway, it was the 27th win in a World Cup team competition.

The second place went to the strong Polish team, for which Kamil Stoch scored the most points today. "The competition was really good for us because it's always nice to stand on the podium. The entire competition was at a really high level and it was also tough. I was jumping well today and I'm satisfied with my performance and happy about the result", said Stoch.

After they finished only sixth in Zakopane last weekend, the German jumpers were a lot more successful today with their third place in Lahti. The best of the team was Karl Geiger, who scored the most points in the competition with 272.4 points. Martin Hamann achieved his first-ever World Cup podium. "I think the competition was quite okay for me, it's my first podium in the World Cup. Also, the team did better today than last weekend in Zakopane. My first jump was really good, in the second round it was not that good. Tomorrow I want to show two good jumps again", said Hamann.

The team of Austria, the best in last weekend's team competition in Zakopane, finished fourth today, despite the comeback of Stefan Kraft. But the team of head coach Andreas Widhoelzl still showed a strong performance, the first and fourth place today were only separated by about 20 points. The Austrians were within striking distance of the Top 3 during the entire course of the competition, in the end, Michael Hayboeck, Stefan Kraft, Philipp Aschenwald, and Daniel Huber closely missed the podium.
Japan, Slovenia, Switzerland, and Finland finished in the places five to eight, Team USA was ninth.

With 3274 points, Norway remains in the lead of the Nations Cup, followed by Poland (3190 points) and Germany (2573 points).
The individual competition in Lahti starts on Sunday at 4 pm CET (5 pm LOC).
