Once again, Sara Marita Kramer dominated the Russian tour, with three wins out of three, scoring 258,10 points with jumps of 99.5 and 100 m. As now usual in this Blue Bird tournament, Sara Takanashi and Nika Kriznar were sharing the podium, wearing both yellow bibs. Until the very end with the final on Sunday, an exceptional battle is announced.

Clearly leading the Russian Tour with 44.4 points, Kramer explained her strong shape as showing her consistency. Even if she was a bit nervous, she wanted to show good jumps and landings, "a step in the right direction" as she said.

Sara Takanashi regained the yellow bib related to the World Cup Overall ranking, having now 15 points advantage on Kriznar. With her 109th individual podium, she is now world record holder, even more than men. She was glad to be again on the podium, even if she was not really satisfied about her technique today. Not really happy about her jumps today neither, Slovenian Nika Kriznar was determined to show she can do better on Sunday on large hill.

Japan had a strong team today with Nozomi Maruyama, claiming the fourth position, her best career result, and Yuki Ito finishing ninth.

Being fourth in the current overall ranking, Silje Opseth from Norway finished fifth.

With Spela Rogelj from Slovenia finishing sixth and Austrian Daniela Iraschko-Stolz coming seventh, Austria just took the lead from Slovenia on the Nations Cup Standings. This will be also a battle till the very last competition on Sunday.

Irina Avvakumova finished eighth in her home country, whereas French Josephine Pagnier was having one of her best result this season finishing tenth.

Till the final on Sunday, this Russian Tour will see really close fights. The World Cup continues on Saturday with a team event at 17.00 LOC, 13.00 CET
