All-clear for the World Cup opener in Wisla (POL) on November 21st and 22nd. Despite the mild temperatures the Adam-Malysz-hill is completely covered with snow.

A week before the season starts, there's some good news for the ski jumpers. The Adam-Malysz-hill in Wisla is prepared and ready for the opening event of the 2020/21 Ski Jumping season.

About 2000 cubic meters of snow were produced at the hill so far. "Due to the cold temperatures we had here over the past nights, it was easier than last year to produce the required snow", explains Andrzej Wasowicz, director of the organizing committee in Wisla.

The weather forecast predicts temperatures of below 10°C and maybe sight rainfall for the region around Wisla, so there's no problem for the two competitions there. The inrun track of the Adam-Malysz-hill is an artificial ice track, temperatures of above zero are not a problem for this kind of tracks. So nothing shall stand in the way of ski jumper's season opener.

Schedule for the World Cup opener in Wisla 2020:

- 6:00 pm - qualification

21st November, Saturday - TEAM COMPETITION
