Stefan Kraft will compete in the 4-Hills-Tournament
Dec 23, 2020·Ski JumpingGood news for the Austrian Ski Jumping team. Last winter's overall World Cup champion Stefan Kraft will be competing in the 4-Hills-Tournament, which will start on Monday in Oberstdorf.
It's hasn't been clear for while, whether Kraft would be getting fit in time for the 4-Hills-Tournament. He was sidelined due to a Covid-19 infection earlier this season, then he wanted to compete in the Ski Flying World Championships in Planica but after his first training jump on 239 m he was out again, this time due to strong back pain.
Now the 2014/15 4-Hills overall winner will be able to reinforce the Austrian team. He was named to the team for the first two events of the 69th 4-Hills-Tournament in Oberstdorf and Garmisch-Partenkirchen alongside Philipp Aschenwald, Michael Hayboeck, Daniel Huber, Jan Hoerl, Thomas Lackner, and Markus Schiffner.
In the following two competitions in Austria (Innsbruck and Bischofshofen) there will be an additional national group of the Austrian Ski Association.
