Too strong wind - Team event in Planica canceled

This season's final team competition on the Ski Flying hill in Planica (SLO) became a victim of the wind on Saturday.
After various short and one longer interruption due to the wind conditions, the jury decided to cancel Saturday's competition.

"The jury tried to carry out the competition, but we are an outdoor sport and need the right conditions to do so, especially on a facility like the Ski Flying hill here in Planica. The safety of the athletes is always the top priority", FIS Race Director Sandro Pertile explained after the cancellation.

The competition shall now take place on Sunday, right before the individual competition.
New schedule for Sunday in Planica:
9 am CET: Team competition (only 1 round)
10:30 am CET: Individual competition
