Women's World Cup: Titisee-Neustadt replaces Hinterzarten
Oct 30, 2020·Ski JumpingThe two women's World Cup competitions on January 30th and 31st will be held in Titisee-Neustadt after the organizers in Hinterzarten had to give back the event to the German Ski Association.
Because the modernization of the hill in Hinterzarten will not be completed in time, the two competitions will now take place in Titisee-Neustadt, just about 10 km from Hinterzarten. This means that the women will get to jump on one of the biggest World Cup hills instead of on one of the smallest.
The Hochfirst-hill in Titisee-Neustadt has a hill size of 142 m (hill record: 148 m) and it is now the biggest hill on the women's World Cup. Hinterzarten will probably host a women's World Cup event again in the 2021/22 season.
A men's World Cup will be held in Titisee-Neustadt on January 9th and 10th.
