COC-M: The Slovenes also dominate on Sunday

A total of three competitions were held this weekend at the Continental Cup in Iron Mountain (USA) and the Slovenes were the outstanding team of the event in Michigan. They took all three wins and even had a 1-2 finish in the final competition on Sunday.

After he could already win the second competition on Saturday evening, Domen Prevc followed up on this performance on Sunday and claimed his second win in a row with jumps of 130 m and 131.5 m and a total of 265.6 points.

Ziga Jelar also did extremely well on the Pine Mountain Ski Jump. He finished third and first on Saturday and secured the 1-2 finish for Slovenia in second today with 131 m and 129 m and 261.1 points. 
Michael Hayboeck of Austria, who was in the lead after the first round with the longest jump of the day of 133 m, jumped on 127 m in the final and came in third overall with his total of 257.8 points.

The places four and five went to the two Norwegians Joacim Oedegaard Bjoereng and Robin Pedersen, the strong team result of Norway was completed by Sondre Ringen in seventh. Germany also achieved a very good team result today with Kilian Maerkl, Justin Lisso, and Martin Hamann in sixth, seventh, and ninth. With Andrzej Stekala (10th) a jumper of Poland could finish among the Top 10 as well this afternoon.

Ulrich Wohlgenannt remains in the lead of the Continental Cup overall ranking with 690 points. Thomas Lackner follows in second with 544 points, Joacim Oedegaard Bjoereng is third with 522 points. 
The Continental cup continues with two competitions in Brotterode (GER) next weekend.
