Veteran Roman Koudelka and the only 15-year-old Anezka Indrackova took the two individual titles at the Czech Ski Jumping Championships on the normal hill in Harrachov on Tuesday.

Roman Koudelka posted jumps of 91.5 m and 90 m and on the K 90 hill and won the competition with a total of 232.0 points.

After the first round in Harrachov, Filip Sakala was in the lead with 92.5 m, in the end, he finished second with a final jump of 88 m and 224.0 points. The third place went to Viktor Polasek, who jumped 88 m and 80 m and scored 199.5 points.

"It was not about winning for me today, I wanted to enjoy my jumps. In training, I wasn't jumping that well, but it got better already in the trial round. Hopefully, I can also show good jumps in the World Cup in Titisee-Neustadt and finally score some World Cup points", said Koudelka, who made his comeback in the World Cup in December after a long break due to an injury. "The results so far weren't as I would have expected. I didn't think that I could finish in the Top 10, but I expected to be in the Top 30."

"The Olympic Games are the dream of every athlete. Until a few weeks ago I was hoping that my sister would make the team. I would have never thought that I could also go to Beijing. Of course, this is a huge motivation for me for the years to come", the new Czech women's Ski Jumping champion said.
