Three-time Olympic champion Kamil Stoch gave some good news now after he was not able to compete in the Grand Prix in Wisla last weekend.

Stoch had won the qualification on Friday, but then he could not participate in both competitions due to a swollen ankle.
Early this week, Stoch underwent an MRI exam, where a slight strain of the ankle which was operated on in spring was diagnosed. This caused the swelling. For the doctors, this is no reason for concern and so Kamil Stoch will already be allowed to train again next week.

"After the surgery, I wanted to train normally again and compete in the Grand Prix opener in Wisla, that's why I rushed to come back. My good jumps in Wisla then proved that I don't necessarily need that much training on the hill because the technique is good and nothing essential has to be improved", Stoch explained.

Kamil Stoch will take part in the next training camp of the Polish team, but he will not be competing in the next Grand Prix in Courchevel on August 7th. Head coach Michal Dolezal named Jakub Wolny, Stefan Hula, Maciej Kot, Paweł Wasek, Aleksander Zniszczoł, Andrzej Stekała, and Klemens Muranka to the team for Courchevel.
