Halvor Egner Granerud the best in the prologue of Chaikovsky

Halvor Egner Granerud won the prologue of the FIS Grand Prix on Friday on the Snezhynka-hill (HS 140) in Chaikovsky with a jump of 133 m.

The Norwegian, overall leader of the FIS Grand Prix 2021, posted a jump of 133 m and finished ahead of Evgeniy Klimov (137 m) and Johann Andre Forfang (133 m). The fourth place went to Marius Lindvik (130 m), Song Qiwu (130,5 m) came in fifth and Giovanni Bresadola (132,5 m) was sixth.

Bresadola was followed by Roman Trofimov (126,5 m), Cene Prevc (123 m), and Mikhail Nazarov (124,5 m). The Top 10 were completed by Ilja Mankov with 127 m.

The jury started this prologue from gate 8, Evgeniy Klimov started from 7 and Halvor Egner Granerud from gate 6.

The men's individual competition in Chaikovsky starts on Saturday morning already at 9 am CET.
