Austria's Marita Kramer claimed her second win within just 24 hours at the Ski Jumping World Cup in Klingenthal (GER). In difficult conditions, the 20-year-old finished ahead of Silje Opseth (NOR) and Katharina Althaus (GER).

After her close win on Friday, Kramer once again demonstrated her current strength with a lead of 21.3 points over Silje Opseth in second and 23.8 points over Althaus. "I'm very satisfied with my performance today, my jumps were a lot better than yesterday. This is an amazing hill here in Klingenthal, when you have a good jump it's an awesome feeling. Now I'm looking forward to the competition in Ramsau next weekend", said Kramer.

Silje Opseth was satisfied after her sixth second place in the World Cup. "It's a good feeling to be on the podium. My jumps are not at 100 % and it's good to know that there's still room for improvement and I still finished second", said the Norwegian.

Katharina Althaus was very glad about her result: "I'm extremely happy about this third place. It went a lot better for me today right from the start, my jumps were a lot better than yesterday. Thanks to everyone who cheered us on today, even if it was not possible at the hill, it was a lot of fun today."

"I'm very satisfied with Katharina Althaus, this is a great result. The others on the team were not able to show their performances from the qualification also in the competition, we will have to see how we can improve that", German head coach Maximilian Mechler stated after the competition. Juliane Seyfarth was 24th, Pauline Hessler 28th.

Sara Takanashi had the longest jump of the day with 140 m in the final round. In the end, the record World Cup winner came in fourth. The Slovenian team was as strong as usual today, even if they didn't make the podium. Ursa Bogataj (5th), Ema Klinec (7th), Nika Kriznar (8th), and Spela Rogel (9th) provided for a top team result.

Chinese Bing Dong also had a reason to celebrate. The currently best Chinese ski jumper was 21st and achieved the first Top 30 result of her career. Astrid Norstedt of Sweden also showed a strong performance and scored World Cup points today.

Marita Kramer now leads the overall World Cup with 530 points, followed by Katharina Althaus (381 points) and Slovenia's Ursa Bogataj (335 points).
The women's Ski Jumping World Cup continues next Friday with a competition in Ramsau (AUT).
