The team of Austria (Jan Hoerl, Manuel Fettner, Philipp Aschenwald, and Daniel Huber) the team competition in Bischofshofen on Sunday evening. Even though the Austrians were in the lead from start to finish, they won with 9.1 points ahead of Japan, Norway came in 0.2 points behind the Japanese.

"Team competitions are always something very special, I really enjoy them. There are not too many team competitions during the season and it's always a goal to be on the team then. Today was really cool, I'm very satisfied with the jump in the second round, the first one was not perfect. I think that our team can be very proud of what we achieved today", said Manuel Fettner, who showed great performances in the past few days and also caused some stir with two crashes. It was the 34th win in a team competition for Austria, the second this winter (after the success in Wisla).

4-Hills champion Ryoyu Kobayashi was the best jumper of the second-placed team of Japan. Kobayashi scored 275.2 points, only Norway's Marius Lindvik, who won Saturday's individual competition, was better today with his 276.2 points. "Our entire team is in good shape right now and everyone showed really strong jumps today. Now I'm looking forward to the next team competition in Zakopane and hopefully, we can also fight for the medals in the team competition at the Olympics", Ryoyu Kobayashi said.

"It was a really exciting team competition, many teams were close all the way to the end. Luckily my teammates are jumping really well at the moment and that makes my bad jumps look a little bit better", said Daniel Andre Tande of Norway. "My jumps were not really good today, it feels good, but it's not flying as I was hoping for. My goal now is to become even more stable. During the 4-Hills I wanted to have some jumps on a really high level and I think I achieved that, now I have to show even more of these jumps in the competitions."

The team of Slovenia also showed a top performance today, but they had some bad luck that Peder Prevc lost many points when he fell after the landing of a great 136 m jump in the first round. In the end, Slovenia was only 1.2 points behind the third place and 10.5 points behind the winners. Without the crash of Peter Prevc, everything would have been possible.

Poland, did well today without Kamil Stoch on the team, came in fifth, Piotr Zyla and Dawid Kubacki scored the most points for the team of head coach Michal Dolezal.

Germany was sixth this evening, 30 points behind Poland. Today's team competition concluded a disappointing weekend for the German athletes, who lost all the hopes for a podium today after Karl Geiger's crash in the first round. Like Prevc, Geiger also didn't suffer any injuries.

With their win today, Austria now took the lead in the Nation's Cup with 2646 points. Norway is now second with 2530 points, Germany follows in third (2507 points).
The World Cup continues next weekend in Zakopane (POL). A team and an individual competition will be held there, with 10 000 fans in the stadium for the competitions and 5000 on the day of the qualification.
