Karl Geiger took his second World Cup win in Titisee-Neustadt within just 24 hours. in difficult conditions, similar to yesterday, Geiger finished ahead of Slovenia's Anze Lanisek and Markus Eisenbichler.

"It was a bit like copy and paste from yesterday. My first jump today was not that good, but in the second round, I had a very good one. Karl was jumping very well again and he deserved the win. Hopefully, I can do even better next time", said Anze Lanisek, who came in second, only 2.2 points behind the winner today.

Karl Geiger showed a perfect performance in Titisee-Neustadt with winning both competitions there: "It was a perfect weekend for me in Titisee-Neustadt. I would have never expected to win both competitions here and it was just so much fun to jump here", Karl Geiger said. For him, this was the 13th World Cup win, the fourth this season.

Like on Saturday, the third place went to Markus Eisenbichler: "I'm very satisfied with my performance today, both of my jumps were very good. In the second round, I was a bit disappointed, because as an athlete you know if the conditions are okay or not and I realized during the flight that it's tough and really difficult. But of course, it's cool that I could still finish on the podium. I'll have to keep on working and maybe luck will be on my side one day."
Half-time leader Ryoyu Kobayashi came in fourth overall today, Jan Hoerl was the best Austrian in fifth.

With his win, Karl Geiger extended his lead in the overall World Cup to now 61 points over Ryoyu Kobayashi, Norway's Halvor Egner Granerud is third. The German team also leads the Nations Cup with 3508 points, followed by Austria (3254 points) and Norway (2939 points).

The World Cup continues next weekend in Willingen (GER) with two individual competitions and a mixed team event on Friday.
After Willingen, the teams will travel directly to Beijing, where the first medal event (individual on the normal hill) will be held on February 6th. The women will already fight for gold, silver, and bronze on February 5th.
