Top 2 for Slovenia in Nizhny Tagil

After Austria yesterday, Slovenia was performing well with also 2 teammates on the podium. Ema Klinec won tonight with 235,1 points and took the yellow bib. The World Champion 2021 in Oberstdorf performed also the longest jump with 97m. She was followed by teammate Ursa Bogataj who won several time this summer during Grand Prix. In good shape since the qualification on Thursday, Katharina Althaus, Germany was back on the podium after quite a long time, showing happiness and releaf.

After her first jump on round, the current favorite Marita Kramer was too far in 6h position to be able to come back on the podium and finished 4th. Several Austrian were following in the top 10 with Jacqueline Seifriedsberger (6th),  Eva Pinkelnig (9th) and Chiara Kreuzer (10th) both happy to be back after not being qualified on the final round the previous day.

Sara Takanashi remained the best Japanese and finished 5th. Silje Opseth managed to improve yesterday 15th position to be ranked 8th today.  Disappointed after performing very good the last two weeks during training,  Nika Kriznar, last season World Cup winner, finished in 7th position.

The first Chinese, Bing Dong was qualified in the first round but couldn’t follow in the final one.

The women ski jumping World Cup continues next weekend in Lillehammer (NOR). Qualifications will be on Friday, December 3rd at 18.30 CET
