After taking two wins in Wisla (POL), Slovenia's Ursa Bogataj was also the best in the third Grand Prix of the 2021 summer season. Austria's Marita Kramer and Nika Kriznar (SLO) came in second and third.

The summer of 2021 couldn't go any better for Ursa Bogataj. Three wins in three competitions prove the amazing shape of the 26-year-old, who hasn't won a World Cup or Grand Prix event before this summer. Today's win was especially valuable, Austria's Marita Kramer was in the lead after the first round, in the end, Bogataj had a lead of 2.4 points over Kramer and even 30 points over third-placed Nika Kriznar.

"I feel great, I didn't expect this win after today's training and qualification. Honestly, I don't really know what happened today, I've never jumped that well here before. I like this hill and I like this place, the scenery is fantastic", said Bogataj, who now leads the Grand Prix overall ranking with the maximum of 300 points.

The best German was Katharina Althaus in sixth, right behind the two Japanese Kaori Iwabuchi and Nozomi Maruyama, who finished fourth and fifth. In absence of Maren Lundby, Silje Opseth was the best of the Norwegians in seventh, Chiara Kreuzer (née Hoelzl) was eighth.

Sara Takanashi was jumping in the training and qualification earlier today, but then she surprisingly decided not to compete due to pain in her leg. Juliane Seyfarth was disqualified before her first jump because her suit did not meet the rules.

The women's Grand Prix continues in Frenstat (CZE) next weekend.
The men's competition in Courchevel starts on Saturday at 6 pm CET.
