COC-M: Michael Hayboeck also wins on day 3 in Lake Placid

Michael Hayboeck was able to prolong his winning streak in the Continental Cup also in the third and final competition of the weekend in Lake Placid (USA).
The Austrian claimed his third win in the thrid competition on the Olympic hills in the State of New York. He ended this successful weekend with jumps of 128 m and 130.5 m and 305.9 points.

Like on Saturday, the second place went to Aleksander Zniszczol of Poland, who was on the podium for the third time this weekend with 125.5 m and 130 m and 291.7 points.
His teammate Tomasz Pilch could repeat his third place from Friday with jumps of 124 m and 126.5 m and a score of 284.2 points.

With Anders Haare, only 0.2 points behind third-placed Tomasz Pilch, Benjamin Oestvold, and Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal three Norwegians followed in fourth, fifth, and sixth.

Besides Zniszczol and Pilch, Jan Habdas (7th), Andrzej Stekala (9th), and Maciej Kot (10th) also contributed to the great team result of Poland.

Danil Vassilyev of Kazakhstan came in eighth and so he was able to improve his career-best in the COC on each of the three competitions days in Lake Placid.

With five wins and two second places in the seven competitions he participated in, Michael Hayboeck scored 660 points and secured a clear win in the overall ranking of the Continental Cup this summer. Aleksander Zniszczol finished second with 436 points, followed by Sondre Ringen and Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal of Norway (both 414 points).
