Junior World Championships in Whistler (CAN) live

Feb 01, 2023·Ski Jumping
Top favorite in the women's race: Alexandria Loutitt from Canada (middle)

In Whistler (CAN) the Nordic Junior World Championships will take place in the coming days. At the start are also the ski jumpers with a total of 5 competitions. At the place of the Olympic Games, where the Swiss Simon Ammann won his historic Olympic gold medals number three and four in 2010, the juniors are now fighting for world championship titles.

On the program are the individual competitions of junior girls and juniors, the team competitions of junior girls and juniors as well as the mixed team competition.

In the junior women's event, Canada's Alexandria Loutitt is the big favorite. Loutitt, who celebrates her 19th birthday on January 7, already has an Olympic bronze medal from Beijing (Mixed Team) and her first World Cup victory (two weeks ago in Zao) in her result statistics. This makes Loutitt the top favorite not only on paper.

In the men's event, Finland's Vilho Palosaari enters the race as the top favorite.
