Lanisek and Klinec Slovenian champions

Anze Lanisek and Ema Klinec claimed the titles at the Slovenian Ski Jumping championships on the normal hill in Kranj.

With jumps of 102 m and 104.5 m, Anze Lanisek scored 261.5 points and came out on top in a close race for the win in the men's event. "Winning the title is a huge honor and I'm very happy about it. It's also a confirmation that we are on the right track towards the winter season", the 26-year-old is quoted on the website of the Slovenian Ski Association.

Lovro Kos, who posted jumps of 101.5 m and 104.5 m came in second only less than a point behind the winner with his score of 260.6 points. Quite far behind the top two jumpers of the day, Peter Prevc finished third on his home hill with 92.5 m and 101 m and 234.6 points.

Cene Prevc followed his older brother in fourth, Patrik Vitez and Tilen Bartol came in fifth and sixth.

Results men

In the women's competition on the HS 109, the victory went to Ema Klinec with 106 m and 101 m and 251.5 points. "I have been jumping really well recently, but I didn't expect to win here today. Now I'm looking forward to continuing the work", Klinec said on sloski.si.

Ursa Bogataj was in the lead after the first round with 104.5 m, with 97.5 m in the final and 249.9 points she came in second overall narrowly behind Klinec. Nika Prevc was third with 103 m and 100.5 m and 233.8 points.

The places four to six went to Maja Vtic, Katra Komar, and Ema Volavsek.
