Norway's Sondre Ringen on Saturday and Germany's Philipp Raimund on Sunday won the two COC competitions in Vikersund (NOR) this weekend. Third place went to Clemens Leitner from Austria on Saturday and Benjamin Oestvold on Sunday.

In crisp minus temperatures below - 10° the competitions took place on the HS 117 meter hill of Vikersund, right next to the legendary Monsterbakken (HS 240, hill record 253.5 meters).
While 26-year-old Sondre Ringen was able to win on Saturday with a narrow margin of 2.7 points, Philipp Raimund took revenge on Sunday with a similarly narrow margin of 4.2 points.
"The level was really good today, in the first jumps I still had some problems, but then in the competition it went really well", Ringen was happy after the successful weekend.

"This was my first victory in COC, I am overjoyed. My first jump was good, then the second one was even better because it was a bit more fluid. I'm really overjoyed with this weekend, I was around 20th place last year and now 2nd and 1st place, that's perfect. Now I am ready for Ruka" explained Philipp Raimund.
At the start in Vikersund were many top-class names like Anders Fannemel (9th and 8th), David Siegel (22nd and 12th) Stefan Hula (26th and 27th) and Maciej Kot (30th and 30th).
