Nika Prevc flew unstoppably to her fourth World Cup victory on Thursday afternoon: with 94.5 and 95 meters and 275.6 points, the Slovenian also won the second World Cup competition in Villach. She was 20.3 points ahead of Eva Pinkelnig, who repeated her second place from the previous day with 94.5 and 91.5 meters and 255.3 points. Prevc’s teammate Nika Kriznar came third with 91.5 and 94 meters and 251.8 points.

"It feels good to be winning. Right now I find winning pretty simple. I just enjoy jumping. It would be hard to feel better. I am very satisfied with my results now I have to put my emotions down and I hope I can continue in this style." - said Nika Prevc after her amazing weekend in Villach.

The Austrian team was particularly convincing: Lisa Eder achieved her best result of the season with fourth place. With Jacqueline Seifriedsberger and Sara Marita Kramer, who gained nine places in the final, two other ÖSV jumpers landed in sixth and ninth place. Yuki Ito was again the best Japanese woman in fifth, while Alexandria Loutitt represented the Canadian colors in the top ten in seventh.

Josephine Pagnier retained her second place in the overall World Cup with eighth place. Meanwhile, Anna Rupprecht ended up in 10th place. Selina Freitag, Luisa Görlich and Juliane Seyfarth ended up in 15th, 22nd and 25th place.

Jenny Rautionaho was once again the best Finn in 13th place, while teammate Julia Kykkänen finished in 20th place. There was also a top 20 place for the Czech and Italian teams thanks to Karolina Indrackova and Annika Sieff, who came 18th and 19th in direct succession.

As in the first competition, Pauline Heßler missed the points and came 32nd, tied with the Japanese Kurumi Ichinohe. Agnes Reisch did not start after her fall the day before and her knee will now be further examined. ÖSV jumper Katharina Ellmauer equaled her personal best World Cup result of 35th place. The Swiss Sina Arnet made it into the competition this time, but didn't get past 40th place.
