Nika Prevc won second competition in Engelberg

Nika Prevc, with her new personal best distance of 136.5 and 129.5 meters and 305.3 points, won Saturday's competition in Engelberg ahead of her teammate Ema Klinec, who achieved 126 and 134 meters and 302.7 points. The Norwegian Eirin Maria Kvandal came third, who jumped to 136 meters and so scored 297 points after 125 meters in the final despite her coach Christian Meyer shortening her run-up.

Josephine Pagnier was able to defend her overall World Cup lead, came in fourth. Jenny Rautionaho from Finland came in a strong fifth place, celebrating her best career result. With Nika Kriznar, who fought her way up five places to sixth place in the final, a third Slovenian ended up in the top ten. These were completed by the best Japanese Yuki Ito, the best Canadian Alexandria Loutitt and the two Austrian jumpers Jacqueline Seifriedsberger and Sara Marita Kramer.

Julia Mühlbacher, Chiara Kreuzer and Lisa Eder in places 18, 19 and 22, three more Austrians landed in the points. As on the previous day, Annika Sieff was the best Italian, this time in 15th place. In the previous qualification she had jumped a new house record of 127.5 meters. Teammate Lara Malsiner achieved her best winter result in 22nd place.

Top 20 for two German athletes: Selina Freitag finished 13th, Anna Rupprecht was 17th. Katharina Schmid and Pauline Heßler finished tied for 24th.

Sina Arnet was the only Swiss woman, who made the qualification, but was eliminated in 33rd place after the first round. Pia Lilian Kübler, in 42nd place, missed the competition on her fourth attempt. The same applied to the Pole Natalia Slowik, who was able to achieve at least her best qualifying result to date in 44th place. The same applied to the Swiss Rea Kindlimann in 50th place, while Emely Torazza was eliminated in 44th place.
