The team from Slovenia (Lovro Kos, Peter Prevc, Domen Prevc and Timi Zajc) came out on top on the Kulm on Sunday ahead of the teams from Austria (Michael Hayboeck, Manuel Fettner, Jan Hoerl and Stefan Kraft) and Germany (Pius Paschke, Karl Geiger, Stephan Leyhe and Andreas Wellinger).

At the start of the competition, it looked like a battle between the teams from Germany, Austria and defending champion Slovenia (Vikersund 2022).
However, the two teams from Slovenia and Austria were then able to pull away from the German team, meaning that Slovenia and Austria were already fighting for gold after the first round.
"You can only be sure when the team's last jump has been scored. But today the phase of the competition was decisive, when there was a relatively strong tailwind, especially in the second round," explained Peter Prevc from the team of the old and new world champions.
"In the third group, Domen (Prevc) managed a great jump to 194 meters despite the difficult conditions, which was ultimately the deciding factor," said Prevc.
Domen Prevc had taken almost 20 meters from the Austrian Jan Hörl (177 meters), who started before him, and thus ensured the preliminary decision.
"I didn't fly well today, I haven't been flying well all day here," said Hörl "But a World Championship medal also makes me proud and I'm mega happy." For Austria it is the first ski flying team medal in 8 years.

The Slovenians demonstrated their team class despite the absence of high-flyer Anze Lanisek, who was injured two days before the start of the World Championships.

Third place went to the German team, with a clear 47-point lead over the Norwegians in fourth place. " If things had gone perfectly, we could have finished further ahead, but we could also have finished further back. There were a few teams at the start who were potential medal candidates. The World Championships went really well for me with silver in the individual and now the bronze medal in the team. We are already looking forward to the home World Cup in Willingen next weekend," said Andreas Wellinger.
Norway, Japan, Switzerland, Finland and the team from Poland completed the top eight teams in the team competition.

Next weekend, the ski jumpers will compete in Willingen (GER), where the women will also be competing in two World Cups.
