Yuki Ito takes first victory of the season

Yuki Ito is the first female World Cup winner of the 2023/2024 season - from fourth place after the first round.

Eight victory for Yuki Ito! With 90.5 meters and fourth place after the first round, Japanese jumper achived 244.6 points with a brilliant 94 meters and took first victory of the season. Second place went to Josephine Pagnier from France with 92 and 92.5 meters and 242.7 points. Third place went to qualification winner Alexandria Loutitt, who was only able to add 88.5 meters after 96 meters and dropped from first place to third with 241.6 points.

Eirin Maria Kvandal dropped back from second place to fourth after her coach Christian Meyer shortened the inrun for her, but she did not get the required 93 meters for the points credit. All in all, however, the Norwegian team result was very strong with Kvandal, Anna Odine Stroem and Thea Minyan Bjoerseth in fifth and seventh place.

Sara Marita Kramer was the best Austrian in sixth place, Nika Prevc the best Slovenian in tenth. With Katharina Schmid and Anna Rupprecht in eighth and ninth place, Germany had two jumpers in the top ten.

Jenny Rautionaho was the best Finn in eleventh place, while Lisa Eder, Jacqueline Seifriedsberger and Julia Mühlbacher finished in the top 20 in 15th, 16th and 18th.

The 15-year-old Ingvild Synnoeve Midtskogen from Norway finished 22nd, her first World Cup points and her best World Cup result, as did the 16-year-old Czech Anezka Indrackova in 24th and the 20-year-old Italian Annika Sieff in 27th - in her first World Cup competition after switching from Nordic combined to specialty jumping in the spring. Sina Arnet from Switzerland closed the list with 30th place.
