The Austrian women are team World Champion 2021. In an extremely exciting competition, Daniela Iraschko-Stolz, Sophie Sorschag, Chiara Hoelzl, and Sara Kramer finished ahead of the teams of Slovenia and Norway on Friday evening.

The entire Austrian team will probably never forget this evening. In a dramatic nail-biter, they claimed team gold today. In Predazzo 2013, the Austrian men took the title, now the women provided the big success.

In the end, the athlete, who came in fourth yesterday, made the difference in this competition. With jumps of 102.5 m and 104 m (269.8 points), Sara Kramer showed the outstanding performance of the day and secured the World Championship title for the Austrians. With 959.3 points, the Austrian team came in only 1.4 points ahead of the Slovenians, Nika Kriznar, Spela Rogelj, Ursa Bogataj, and Ema Klinec.

"I think the Slovenes showed incredible jumps and I thought it will be really close. It feels like a rollercoaster, yesterday it was so hard and today so cool", Kramer said in an interview with the Austrian TV station ORF.
The third place went to Norway, the best of her team was individual silver medalist Maren Lundby. "It is very nice to get a team medal. Maybe we had dreamt of more, but we were close to the gold even without performing on our best level. We have to say this was okay", Lundby said.

64.6 points behind the third-placed Norwegians, the team of Japan was fourth, followed by Germany in fifth. Anna Rupprecht, Juliane Seyfarth, Luisa Goerlich, and Katharina Althaus showed a solid performance, but their shape is not good enough right now to defend the title they won in 2019.
The team of the Russian Ski Federation was sixth, followed by Poland and the Czech Republic.
