Austrian racer Alexander Payer clinches his career's first beating local favourite Roland Fischnaller (ITA) in the men's final of the season's second PGS World Cup which took place in Cortina d'Ampezzo on December 15, 2017. While Sylvain Dufour (FRA) storms to third, fourth ranked rider Nevin Galmarini (SUI) takes over the World Cup lead.
