It took Andreas Prommegger 18 years to get his very first World Champs medal, a gold!, while it took his 18-year-younger teammate Daniela Ulbing only one day to reach the same achievement. And what about Benjamin Karl, whose silver is his sixth medal at the World Champs? Well, Austria just dominated the PSL at the FIS 2017 Sierra Nevada Worlds. Snowboard is one of the six Olympic disciplines administered by FIS - The International Ski Federation. The discipline consists of five different events Big air, Halfpipe, Slopestyle, Snowboard cross, and parallel slalom. Snowboarding is a young snow sport which began in the 1960's.
