Clémence Grimal
Aug 31, 2018·Snowboard Park & PipeThe French halfpipe specialist has been competing on tour for quite a while now. However, following an early World Cup debut in Valmalenco, Italy back in 2010, the 1994-born rider has had a few ups and downs in her career so far.
It took her quite a while to fully settle on the top level but when she placed third in Ruka, Finland to finally grab her first WC podium, she got the confidence to being able to keep up with the sport's best.
It was also a result which finally opened the door to her first Olympic Winter Games in Sochi 2014.
However, Grimal finally shone bright only one year later when she finished third at the 2015 FIS World Championships – her first worlds at all.
And only two years later, she supplied evidence that this great showing wasn't a dayfly at all as she took home another Bronze at the 2017 FIS World Championships.
