Copper Mountain
Aug 31, 2018·Snowboard Park & PipeOne of the more down-to-earth resorts in the incredible Rocky Mountain corridor that features towns with names like Vail, Breckenridge, Keystone and Frisco, Copper Mountain is a Colorado local's favourite tucked in amongst its glitzier neighbours.
It's Copper's impressive freestyle playground that has lured the FIS Snowboard World Cup tour to its slopes for the first time back in the 2012-13 season.
And with quite a few World Cup events staged already, Copper is back on track again in the 2017-18 season hosting not only a halfpipe World Cup event but also this season's fifth big air contest underlining that this unique competition format is well placed in cities as well as right on the mountain.
