Derungs and Thoenen Swiss slopestyle champions
Aug 31, 2018·Snowboard Park & PipeIn today's slopestyle event, Isabel Derungs and Moritz Thoenen took the top spots of both, the EC and national's podium.
In the women's event, the 30-year-old scored a 93.4 right in her first run and secured the Swiss title ahead of Elena Koenz and Ariana Burri.
In the men's final, Thoenen came out victorious of a close battle with Nicolas Huber. The 21-year-old was awarded with a 90.2 while Huber, no less than the 2017 FIS Snowboard World Championships silver medallist, got a 89.4.
Rank three went to Jonas Boesiger who also scored high with a 88.8.

The big air event is scheduled for 21 April with the qualifiers slated to go down on 20 April.
