Jenny Jones is one of the most respected British snowboarders out there, yes, that's right: British snowboarders.

Born 1980 in Bristol, young Jenny learned to ride on the dry slopes in her home country before getting to know the real stuff in Tignes later on.

Thanks to a gymnastic background she finally bursted onto the scene as extremely talented teenager in 1999.

Ever since, she has won numerous prestigious events such as the X-Games where she earned three Gold medals in a row.

Blessed with a strong mind to compete, Jenny has not only some pretty techy rail combos in store but can also spin some flawless tricks over big jumps too.

In the past couple of years, the rider known for her humorous and outgoing character had to handle some niggling injuries which prevented her from scaling the peaks.

In December 2013, a concussion sidelined her from most of the training time in the lead-up to the XXII Olympic Winter Games at Sochi.

But when it was time to deliver in the Rosa Khutor Extreme Park, Jenny did by placing third and becoming the first ever Brit to win an Olympic medal at Winter Games.
